Re: 2017 Annual Brooks Area Recreation Membership Meeting and Election

The Annual Brooks Area Recreation Membership Meeting and Election will be held on June 21, 2017 at 7 pm at the baseball field house.  We encourage all members to come out and vote.  Please bring a photo ID with you in order to vote, and only 2 parents per family may cast a vote.  We will take votes between 7 pm and 8 pm.  

The Board of Directors positions that will be open for election are:

            Vice President

            Secretary

            Facilities Director

            Uniforms and Equipment Director

Nominations for the open positons will be closed on June 7.  Nominees for each position will be posted on the Baseball (www.brooksbaseball.org), Football/Cheerleading (www.brooksbears.com), and Softball (www.brookssoftball.com) websites as the committee receives nominations.

    About Brooks Youth Softball

    We play in a joint league with teams in Fayette and Coweta counties. Our schedule will include teams from Brooks, McCurry Park (Fayetteville), Peachtree City, Tyrone and Senoia.

    Concussion Information

    On January 1, 2014 Georgia "Return to Play Act" took effect. It requires that all parents and athletes read, understand and sign the "Concussion Information Fact Sheet" prior to the athlete participate in any activities.
